Overview
As a Passive Fire Protection Trainee at Firesafe, you will undergo comprehensive training to understand passive fire protection principles, techniques, and materials. Qualifications / Work Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong interest in construction, fire safety, or a related field.
Basic understanding of construction principles is a plus.
Required Skills and Attributes
Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Physical fitness and ability to work in various construction environments.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Key Responsibilities
Training and Development
Participate in structured training programs to gain a thorough understanding of passive fire protection principles, techniques, and materials.
Learn to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications related to fire protection.
Hands-on Installation
Work alongside experienced technicians to install firestopping materials in walls, floors, and ceilings.
Assist in the construction of fire-resistant walls and partitions.
Fire Door Inspection Support
Shadow senior technicians during fire door inspections, learning about compliance standards and maintenance procedures.
Safety Compliance
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all training and work activities.
Receive training on the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety tools.
