This position is based in Guernsey, Channel Islands, applicants who have UK or Jersey residency and are willing to relocate, are welcomed.

Overview

As a Passive Fire Protection Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians in the planning, execution, and management of passive fire protection projects. This role requires a strong understanding of passive fire protection techniques, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to ensure projects are completed efficiently and in compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications / Work Experience

  • Proven experience in passive fire protection, with a strong background in project supervision.

  • In-depth knowledge of passive fire protection materials, techniques, and industry regulations.

  • Ability to collaborate with other project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

  • Certification in passive fire protection or related field is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision and Leadership

Lead, mentor, and guide a team of Passive Fire Protection Technicians.
Provide guidance on project tasks, safety protocols, and industry best practices.

Quality Assurance

Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper installation of firestopping materials, fire-rated construction, and intumescent coatings.
Monitor and maintain high-quality standards for all passive fire protection projects.

Client Communication

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during passive fire protection projects.
Provide updates on project progress, address client concerns, and ensure overall client satisfaction.

Documentation

Maintain detailed project documentation, including records of installations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Prepare comprehensive reports for clients and regulatory authorities.
